Privacy policy · Beta 1.7

Your recovery information belongs to you.

One Day is designed to provide useful recovery support without building an identity profile or selling recovery information.

What stays on your device

Your recovery date, check-ins, journal and reflection responses, Step Work, plans, meeting favorites, Recovery Home, and support contacts are stored only in your browser during the beta. One Day does not receive those entries. Clearing browser data or choosing “Delete all my private data” removes them from that browser.

Anonymous usage totals

One Day records limited totals such as the website opening, new or returning browser, device category, navigation sections, successful meeting loads, non-sensitive button actions, active time, and recognized recruitment source. These totals do not include what you type, search wording, or exact location.

What is never included in analytics

Written responses, Step Work, journal entries, craving or HALT choices, sobriety date, contact names or numbers, search wording, exact location, medical information, and identity are never sent as usage analytics. One Day does not use advertising trackers or behavioral advertising.

Optional location

Your device asks for permission only after you select “Use my location.” Coordinates are used temporarily in your browser to order nearby meeting results; One Day does not store location history or exact location.

Founding Tester contact information

A tester’s nickname, email or mobile number, preferred contact method, and general perspective are stored in a separate registration table. They are never connected to private recovery activity. Participation is voluntary. To leave the program or request deletion, email contact@onedaysupport.org.

Outside services and contact

Meeting, directions, crisis, treatment, email, call, and text links may open an outside service governed by its own privacy policy. Questions or deletion requests can be sent to contact@onedaysupport.org.

Effective September 4, 2026.
